Monica's hair

The cascade sitting on top of her head looked ridiculous. The color didn't even match completely. That was the style back in 1967 my Mom told me. How do you think Monica would have looked with a hairstyle of today? I think she would have looked much younger. Her figure was still really good for being in her 60's. I read Joan lied about her age & no one really knows if she was 69, 70 or 72 when she died. It was very unbelievable that a man 25 years younger would be attracted to her, especially such a handsome man in good shape.(LOL) It was pretty comical. The movie was pretty good, not the greatest but entertaining. I was sad to see that Matilda died at only age 52 from ovarian cancer. She was a beauty.

Somehow, that cruelly regal, mid-'60s beehive hairdo totally fit Joan,

Attractive? No. Imperious? Yes.

No it didn't; it looked real enough. In fact, I didn't even know it was fake until I came here.

The hairdo Matilda had was a helluva lot worse! It looked square, like she had a Dr. Zaius-type case head.
