saw for the 1st time
Saw this for the 1st time ever last night and wow! what a sensory overload. It grabbed my attention from the get-go and I enjoyed every glorious minute of it. They don't make movies like this anymore, lol...
shareIt does have that grand guignol, lurid, in-your-face, mid-'60s Halloweenish color scheme going for it. And the cast is good (although Ty Hardin's seduction of Joan strains credibility).
But the story is too vapid -- even though I love the "kill -- kill --kill -- it's all I feel inside!" finale from cutie Judy Geeson.
Still, it's nowhere near as good a CIRCUS OF HORRORS (1960). If only Crawford had been in that one.
