like that one in NY? or would they be totally remodeled?
Its cute like it is..if not modern.

Don't know anymore... REnt has just skyrocketed in last couple decades.. Otherwise I would have moved back there a long time ago...

Yes. My friend lives in a top floor studio with a skylight near the Washington Square Park which is the park in the movie. The neighborhood is the West Village between 5th Avenue and 6th and many of the same buildings are still there. Cactus Flower also directed by Gene Saks has many scenes filmed in that neighborhood.

The question isn't whether there are apartments like that....The question is how often does one of those 4 million dollar apartments come on the market.

I'm a senior still living in NYC (Brooklyn) I only pay under $1000.00 but I've been here since 1998.

Now you want to talk walkups?
When I met my wife she was living in a studio apt at 447 West 43th St in NYC FOUR flights up. (Note she was 2 houses down from Jane Fonda's apt house
from KLUTE)
We stayed there for a while and then moved to a 1 bedrm on the ground fl, then to a larger apt on 45th St

Talk about KLUTE) my wife to be was almost knocked down by Jane (turning the corner of 45th & 9th) when they were filming same, my dear lady was a little woman.
