Is this the movie I'm trying to remember?

I have vague memories of a western I only saw part of when I was a kid. I know it had sheep in it and a female lead. At the end the woman may or may not be getting together with a comical male character who demands that she give him ten sons. If she wants a daughter or two that would be okay with him, just as long as he gets his ten sons.

I'm not sure the ending I'm remembering is consistent with a film with a feminist bend to it, but from the description, this has a) a woman lead, b) sheep and c) the west, so I thought it was a fair possibility.
