Golden train
Is it in the original series or the 1994 series that has Speed up against a big old train made out of gold? racing through a forest i think and there was something to do with a really old T Ford
shareThat's actually two different stories. The one with the giant car secretly made out of gold is "The Race Against the Mammoth Car," while the one featuring the Model T is "The Secret Engine." Both are part of the original series, not any of the remakes.

Excellent, cheers. I had the episodes on video when i was around 6 or 7 (19 years ago) and they were released in the UK on a video label called the Kids Cartoon Collection along with some of the Luarel and Hardy cartoons, and another Japanese Anime. Its the Anime that im trying to find.
From what i can remember from it, it was set in an apocalyptic future, and there was a woman going around on some sort of hover scooter thing. She was being chased by giant robots that looked like huge spheres, each robot was different coloured, but all looked the same and fired their hands as weapons. They would pull in their heads and arms and roll about destroying things. There was also a black guy who smoked a cigar and bubbles came out, and he ran up the side of one of the robots to catch the woman who was falling (for some reason)
I'm a huge anime fan, and have been trying to find this one as its the one that got me into it, but i cant remember the name at all.
If you haven't already, I'd suggest asking on the Animation board here on the IMDb. There's a member named straydawg (I think that's how his username is spelled) who comes around every once in a while - he seems to know everything there is about cartoons.
