I was only 4 when it was on and I thought it was a wonderful show. There was something magical about it for me at the time. Wish I could see some episodes.

Why not? Glad to hear you are OK.
It's a shame ... Mister Terrific was a well made show but as you can see the writing is pretty bad, it does not have heart, and the laugh track just proves that it's not funny. It's just dumb.
CBS and Universal just didn't think this one through.
