Mannix coming to MeTV

Mannix is coming to MeTV weekday late nights on MeTV starting early January 2017.

Also added are 77 Sunset Strip, MacGyver (starting December 19th), Kolchak (on Sundays), Maverick, Ironside and a bunch of others.

Mannix is replacing Kojak at 2 am eastern and Ironside and 77 Sunset Strip are replacing the rotating Mystery Movie (McCloud / McMillan & Wife / Columbo) block in the 3 am to 5 am eastern time slots.

I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it.

For my money it's the best PI show ever made, but real fans are better off watching the episodes on DVD -- where they're uncut -- rather than on MeTV where they're bound to be chopping six or seven minutes out of each one. The butchers.

I wholeheartedly agree. Your post reminded me of the Beatles' LP jacket with the butchered babies. These stations like MeTV do slash the old shows to ribbons.

I also recommend buying the DVDs, especially when Amazon is selling all eight seasons for around $60. It was one of the best investments I made.

METV doesn't cut nearly as much as TVLand does. I would say from what I have seen on TAGS on METV nothing is cut out.

Agreed. MeTV makes a point to state in the media that they air shows in their entirety and exactly how the shows played in its original run.
