Mannix comes across, he gets into a fight with. If I were him, I would get tired of that, fast.

Starting August 11, 2016, Reruns can be seen on
Cloo, ch 308 on DirecTV, in Los Angeles.

I got all the DVD's. I discovered Mannix in the mid 80's when CBS aired the re runs. I then was so happy that all the DVD's came out. 90% of the episodes are really great.

Actually, that's not remotely true. It was definitely a two-fisted crime show, and Connors -- a former star athlete -- handled the fisticuffs brilliantly, but the level of violence on the show has been wildly overstated. The chief attraction for me is the twisty storylines, which are often deviously clever.
