Why didn't the aliens just kill Vincent?


I guess there wouldn't be a show otherwise. But if they had have killed him, it would have made their invasion more easy.

They certainly had many opportunities...

Yeah, that's a logical problem. Still, one of my favorite shows from the 60s.

Yeah, it's an obvious answer to the Invaders problem. But it's ends the show. Perhaps the Invaders believe that letting Vincent live and being seen as a "crack pot" can be used as cover?

Yes, after a few unverifiable stories from Vincent don't pan out, he gets a reputation as "that UFO nut" and nobody takes him seriously.

In their eyes Vincent was little more than a troublesome bug they could squash anytime they wanted.
