What would it have been about? How whould the series end?

They could have produced a third season,there was still life in the show,but instead the network threw it away. I would have liked to see David Vincent take the fight to the aliens' planet,to try and learn more about them,perhaps with military help,after they FINALLY believe him. It would be a '60s version of "V",only with a final resolution:the aliens defeated,the Earth saved,and David Vincent a hero.

How could the Earth have reached the alien's home planet in the sixties or even now?
