Beautiful Women!

I love shows from the mid to late 60's. They all have incredibly beautiful women in them. The Invaders is no different.

I am watching the one now with Carol Lynley in it. She has got to be one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I think she might look her best in this episode. She also looked gorgeous in a green bikini in a movie called "Once you Kiss a Stranger".

Katherine Justice, Suzanne Pleshette & Dawn Wells are just some of the other beautiful women from the Invaders. It's a really good show too. I'm glad I purchased it.

There's also Diane Baker, Susan Oliver, Susan Strasburg, Laura Devon, Marlyn Mason, Antoinette Bower and Ahna Capri, to name a few more.

can anyone surpass the stunning "Bee Girl" in the episode "BZZZZ" from THE OUTER LIMITS (1963)?

Joanna Frank?

Also there was the lovely Diana Hyland as Invader Ellie Markham!

Is it my imagination or were women more beautiful on average back then than now? Women less often got tats and body piercings and it was way less common to shave off pubic hair (I hate lack of pubic hair).

joanne Linville (romulan commander in star trek)

Hay-MEN! And Diana Hyland and Diana Muldaur, Suzanne Pleshette, Carol Linley... and many others.

No your imagination.
They knew how to dress.
Plus no tatoo or body piercing.

Carol Lynley has never been more gorgous.

And yes, this is what brilliant female scientists look like. ;)

reply

Yes, there were some serious lookers on the Invaders. :-)

Absence of tattoos and piercings (other than one tiny earring hole per ear lobe), tendency to have longer hair, more normal amount of body fat, natural breasts, natural-size lips, and more flattering clothes all contributed to the attractiveness of actresses of the 1960s. A more mature demeanor relative to their age, and a more grown-up voice and manner of speaking were also positive factors. Not to say that there aren't some beautiful actresses today, but contemporary styles and preferences work against them now.
