Could the Herculoids be more invincible?

Seriously every episode features them fighting inept villains they dispatch pretty offhandedly in a series of battles with minimal effort. Can we get less stereotypical storytelling in a cartoon please?

You obviously haven't seen many episodes. They were captured, injured, trapped and other various things all though out the series. As for steroetypical story telling; the worst episode of this series is by far superior to any of the animated crap that is so popular these days.

Most skeptics are terrified it's all real and are desperate to prove otherwise.

Actually I've watched every episode, and I stand by my original post because of it. You're right about most cartoons today though.

What do expect from a Saturday morning cartoon that was made for children 43 years ago? This cartoon was awesome because of the cool characters and the action. It's pretty obvious that action and not storytelling was the focus here, numbnuts! What are you going to do, compare it to Alien? What's next, bitching about Scooby Doo because he doesn't solve mysteries as well as Sherlock Holmes? Maybe you could enlighten us as to why Hong Kong Phooey fails because it lacks the depth of Citizen Kane?
God, I hate people...
