Sister Betrille's real name

IF I recall correctly, there was an episode that revealed Sister Betrille's real name. This episode was one where she met someone from her non-secular past, and they used her name in conversation. Can anyone help me with remembering which episode this was?

reply

I can't remember the exact episode sorry, it may have been Season 1 Ep 21 (My Sister the Sister) I do remember her real name though and it was Elsie Ethrington.

I watched that episode last night! It was "The Song of Bertille" and that was from season 2.

And her song was horrible

Where are you able to watch this? Netflix? YouTube?

reply

I don't want to speak for the one whom you addressed, but I believe TFN is shown daily on 'Antenna network' (something I don't get in my area or in my 'bundle'). I myself have bought the first two seasons on DVD about ten years ago - they were recently reissued about six months ago. The quality I have from SONY is excellent. Worth buying if you are a TFN fan.

Has anyone released the 3rd season?

reply

No, unfortunately. It's rumored that the first two seasons did not sell all that well, so they dropped plans for S3. I wish one of the smaller labels would pick it up and release it.

Some are on youtube. So I got to see them at least. I like the one where they change to another type of habit which basically grounded Sister Bertrille. I mentioned that to my mother and she told me that was the time that habits were really changing.

reply

It was mentioned in both of the episodes other posters mentioned here.

I'm not sure if they mentioned it in any other episodes or not.

That was the.episode where she wrote that awful cheesey song
