'In and for the county of Los Angeles...'

I wonder why they dropped the "in and" part of that ending voice over after the initial season? It may have been redundant, but it was my favorite part,

"Walked five miles to school and back, uphill both ways. No, really, I have pictures." MC Escher

It was kind of ridiculous for what is now the most populated county in the U.S. Very small counties might not have superior courts in some jurisdictions, so trials could be held for them in a larger neighboring county.

She was in so many episodes, and it was obvious she and Friday were attracted to each other. They even alluded to comiserating outside their work. But how far did that go? That was left open to speculation. I hope they were doing more than just police work together. I thought Miller was hot in that uniform and a very nice lady too. What red blooded straight man wouldn't want to **** her?

I meant Policewoman Dorothy Miller.
