Haven't seen this in many years. Hope it holds up to my memory of it.
Saw this last night. Peter Kastner is a decent actor and a bright fellow, but he is an Alfred E. Neuman lookalike, or John Malkovich's uglier brother. FFC forces us to watch his hideous monkey mug anyway. I thought Karen Black proved she was a great actress at the start of her career by feigning interest in him. Then I learned she actually DATED him in real life! Ha, ha, the joke was on her. Literally, ON HER. Oh well, Karen was a bit cross-eyed and couldn't focus.
On this rare occasion Elizabeth Hartman was allowed to wear glittery makeup and vamp it up as an icy/hot bitch. She is sort of pretty when tarted up, although her go-go body didn't give me much go-go. Usually she looks washed out and cow like.
Otherwise it's a pleasant romp through mid sixties New Yawk.
