Surgery
This film has a remarkable long scene of Joe 'Loser' Kearns being wheeled in to a surgical ward, prepared then anaesthetised and we cut out just as surgery commences. Its engaging and documents the procedure authentically to a point of being unsettling and almost creepy.
Being such an incidental moment I am wondering if there are theories why the director would need all of this footage and not just cut around it?
