Was this movie intentionally meant to discredit bikers?

I can’t help but get the feeling that this movie did everything it could to make bikers look bad. Nearly everything the bikers did in the movie made them look bad in every way.

There’s the constant use of Nazi symbols from the beginning of the movie to the end with a Swastika flag draped over the Loser’s coffin. At the beginning of the movie it has one of the Loser’s co-workers explain why the Iron Cross worn by Heavenly Blues is so offensive.

When they take the Loser from the hospital, one of the bikers decides that it’s more important to rape a nurse than to help move the body. Heavenly Blues going back to get him results in one of the other bikers dropping the glass container holding the fluid that the Loser needs to survive, ultimately leading to the Loser dying later.

The bikers arrange a funeral with a pastor for the Loser, only for Heavenly Blues to interrupt and insult the pastor. The bikers then beat up the pastor and tear up his church. During their subsequent party, the bikers take the Loser’s body out of the coffin and play with it and two of them rape his widow.
