this movie is bursting joy, freedom spirit and willing to live a fully life.

it's goliardic and outrageous.

lust for life is the perfect description for this movie.

funny and entertaining to watch.

so why I think it's very underrated. and the question is: maybe one of the reasons is because of its nazi iconography?

and p.s.: sorry for the bad english.

I agree. You have to look past the bare bones of the story and realize that there is more to it. The Angels as portrayed are lowlifes, abusers, lawbreakers--but yet you find yourself rooting for them anyway. Why? Because, whether jousting at the campground or freeing their buddy from the hospital, they carry that spark of life and of freedom.

Yeah. I like this one better than Easy Rider for sure (which is overrated).

I think it's a great movie. Not everybody's cup of tea, though. I give it a 9/10, it's probably one of Corman's most misunderstood movie.

If your cup of tea is steeped sh&t, then one would like it. This movie sucked. Plain and simple.

It is far from underrated, but it isn't overrated either.
