It's on this channel!

I know that's a bit confusing, so I'm also going to state it this way: THIS Channel is showing it right now! It will be followed by "I Eat Your Skin", which tells me that THIS plans to continue surprising viewers with an unusual array of offerings.

I was just about to go to bed when this listing caught my eye. Cable's on-screen schedule lists it as "The White Bus". This has been a week for the unusual since TCM aired "The Bed Sitting Room" the other night.

Really, THIS and ALN have provided some treats, very obscure films.

i'm watching it right now. took some searching to find it, as THIS lists it as,as you said, the white bus, but imdb calls it red, white, and zero. a really interesting little film-- really draws you in, especially the woman at it's center, patricia healey. the long, static shots of industrial areas kind of remind me of antonioni. what odd things you find when you stay up all night...

How true! I plan to watch for it. Since it fits in an hour-long slot, perhaps they'll manage to program it again soon. It's great seeing London at that time, when practically every teenager dreamed of being there. (Well, I imagine the adults, too, wanted their time there.) Meanwhile, most people set their sights on California, particularly San Francisco. Roger Miller was singing "England swings like a pendulum do (sic)..." and Eric Burdon of The Animals was singing "San Francisco nights..."

I'm just happy to see things from the Sixties and Seventies showing up. There are so many great movies to be shown instead of the ones we tend to see repeatedly. THIS and ALN, as well as TCM, are helping.
