Some really clever bits in this movie

Like when Cary Grant is reading the names of the American Olympic team and they’re all these long ethnic names before he gets to Davis’s name. I thought it also had a very positive portrayal of the Japanese as a good humored, welcoming, and generous people. You would not have seen this 20 years earlier. It was quite a remarkable change in American perspective on the Japanese.
