well put! while the OTHER show debuted after this film's US and UK releases, Takei had been involved in both of that show's pilots, including the earlier one that had been made years earlier before THIS show.
of course we noticed him. We seemed to be drowning in Takai lately, what with his internet appearances, a recent TED radio spot on "The Hero's Journey", and our recent viewings of Larry Crowne and the film version of Allegiance.
