I saw this film at the Drive-In (What's a Drive-In)

I was a kid in California in 1966 and the local drive-in was showing a triple horror header (I don't remember the other two movies) and as an advertising gimmick the theater was handing out "release" forms so the thater couldn't be held responsible if you had a heart attack or any other fear caused ailment. So my dad packed up the family in our station wagon and we wen't to the drive-in we had a blast!...I look back with fond memories of a crappy movie.

Yeah, I saw it at a drive-in as a kid too (We rode our bicycles 4 miles, and ditched them in the nearby woods. Snuck in and watched the films from the swingsets in front...good old days). The other films on the bill were the classic "Corpse Grinders" and the not so classic "Embalmer".

A bunch of friends and I talked my dad into driving all of us to the drive-in to see that same triple feature. There was a "nurse" on duty in case someone needed emergency attention. She looked extremely bored. About the only thing I remember was the cheesy puns for the "daily special".

And interestingly enough, the Undertaker, Ray Dannis, also played Carlton Babcock, the pet food company owner who was murdered and pushed into the grinder in The Corpse Grinders. (AND he had his arm chopped off and eaten in The Severed Arm) Poor guy always wound up in people-as-food movies.

I seen this at a drive in theater in Illinois (Im thinking around 1970 or 71), it was part of a triple feature with The Corpse Grinders and one of the Christopher Lee Dracula moves.I reckon back then parents didnt get chastized for letting thier kids watch horror movies LOL. Those were great times , and I can still remember eating popcorn out of a brown paper grocery bag that my mom cooked on the stove.
