HELP!!! Restaurant scene also in 'La bonne année'

This is sooo odd. Three weeks ago, I rented a triple DVD set of Claude Lelouch (La bonne année, Attention bandits, L'amour avec des si)

At the very beginning of La bonne année, there's a restaurant scene where the couple is being served by a who appears to be a very young Daniel Auteuil, about which I posted on Daniel Auteuil's message board.

Well tonight I rented again (after 20 years) Un homme et une femme, and to my great surprise, there again is that exact same restaurant scene.

Why would the exact same scene, lasting about 20 seconds, be in both films, 8 years apart from each other???????????????????????????

***So I've seen 4 movies/wk in theatre for a 1/4 century, call me crazy?**
