No disguises?

I just watched this on dvd.

So many little things wrong as others point out, but why didn't they use some sort of disguises to try to change their appearance? Eye glasses, dyed hair (for Julie Andrews, a different hair style), hats, even scarves, etc . They just walk around the East Germany the entire time looking totally themselves. Seems a bit stupid.

That fact stuck out like a big sore thumb to me.

Sarah was put into a headscarf by the resisters but I agree that Michael looked ridiculous. So much so that I wondered if he was playing a double bluff and in fact wanted to be recaptured.
