Interesting that three of the main stars in Skippy made appearance in this movie together, well before the tv show. Ed Deveraux is one of the main characters as Joe the builder, Tony Bonner is the lifguard at Bondi and Ken James makes an uncredited cameo as a bellboy in the Kings Bloody Cross hotel. This is also interesting to me as he stays at the Hampton Court Hotel in the Cross, a hotel I actually lived in for over a year whilst working in a business underneath the hotel.

Ed, Chips Rafferty, John Meillon and others, one or all of them was in just about every film made at that time.

I only know about Ken's cameo appearance because he lists the movie on his website and I emailed him to query it. He must have been pretty young at the time. Unfortunately I believe he's very unwell these days. You talk about Ed Deveraux being on every 60's movie. There was a time in the 70's when Ken james was on every TV series.
