I saw this movie at the drive-in when I was about 12 years old. I've loved it ever since and I've seen it several times as an adult. Joey Bishop is just a hoot in this movie. The slap fight between Dean Martin & Alain Delon is just a riot to watch ... and then there's the expressions on Joey Bishop's face during this slap fight. Ha Ha Ha! I really wish this movie would come out on DVD. I would snap it up in a heartbeat. Aror Harr!
shareYou are sooooo right!!! My big sister and I watched this when we were young girls and it came on television. We laughed so hard, we fell off the couch and our mom came running from the bedroom because she thought we were hurt. My hubby and I have an old copy from tv and all our kids enjoyed it as did their friends when we had slumber parties for them. Now we are trying to get a better copy so we have it for the grandkids and look every week to see if it's on DVD.

I bought this on vhs several years ago, before they started fixing them so they couldn't be copied. Now I have a dvd recorder with vhs player. Now I have a dvd! !

It appears to be recorded from a VHS tape, but it's a decent rendition of a classic comedy/western.
The DVD is available in Germany under the title of 'Zwei tolle Kerle in Texas'. It includes the original English soundtrack. I watched the movie last night. The restoration is well done: picture is clear and sound is great. Extras only photo gallery and trailer. There is a booklet, but it's in German.
I have this movie on Laserdisc and transfered it ti DVD. Very good quality
but it is Analog and nor digital. Just another great movie not on DVD in the US for some reason-others "Dark at the Top of the Stairs" and "The High and the Mighty". Can't understand why they can't get these out on DVD because I'm sure
there is a demand for them.
