A-M was George Sidney's Tippi Hedren

"The Swinger" is George Sidney's "Marnie".....Sidney was just warming up his
obsession in "Viva Las Vegas" and "Bye Bye Birdie"....;but with "The Swinger" his complete infatuation with Ann-Margaret is a jaw-dropping sight to behold...especially notice how many scenes involve stripping and humiliating her. (Unlike, Hitchcock-Hedren, as far as I know, the Sidney/A-M collaborations were strictly professional and above-board...but I have to believe that Sidney surely worshipped A-M and and splashed his adoration all over the screen as much as the paint he splashed all over his beloved star.
