I Have All Three Versions.

If I had to chose one out of the three I couldn't with all honesty choose one over the other. All have their pros and cons based on the cast members in each. My choices are as follows: Dallas: Ann Margret, Mrs Mallory: Stefanie Powers, Gambler: Michael Conners, Marshall: Van Heflin, Bank Thief: Bob Cummings, Whiskey Salesman: Donald Meek, Stage Driver: Slim Pickens, Doctor: Thomas Mitchell, Killer: Alex Kubic and last but not least choosing The Ringo Kid caused me a lot of soul searching to decide. Considering I am a serious John Wayne fan I still chose Alex Cord as my favorite. I have the limited edition widescreen version of the 1966 movie on DVD and of the 3 it has the best picture quality even though the 1939 version is top notch for it being so old and in black and white. That is my take on the 3 Stagecoach movies and I do expect to catch a lot of negative comments for my choices but so be it.
