Race Cars Used in the Movie
Is there a list of the various types of racing cars we see in this one?
I recognize a couple, but nowhere near all of them.
It's all like some bad movie.

There were three Cobras used in making the flick. If you pay close attention early on, you'll see that the car that went into the brook wasn't the same Cobra that Elvis was driving. In fact, it wasn't even a Cobra (it looked more like the shell of a Corvette or something else).
The movie wasn't THAT bad...
I was looking for info on the other cars shown in the movie. I think Shelley Fabares was driving a Sunbeam Tiger in the movie, but it's been a while.
This is actually my favorite Elvis movie because of the cars.

Shelley is driving a Ferrari. You can see the Ferrari prancing horse in the grill. I think it's a 250 model. The car in the pond looks like a Triumph TR 4. They obviously didn't want to damage an expensive car and substituted the cheaper Triumph. The Cobras and Corvettes are nice to see on the track. The Cobras look like the 289 models, not the far more powerful 427's.
shareThe Fox 5 is a McLaren, not sure of the model designation, but it was their first Can-Am car.
shareAccording to the site below, it's a McLaren Elva.

That Ferrari Shelley is driving is very similar to the car in Ferris Bueller, and yes, that is a TR-4 in the water, not the ferrari.

To partly answer my own question, here's the page for this movie on the IMCDb.

If you want to identify cars in films, that's the site to visit.
The universe is not only stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine.–J.B. Haldane
That's only a partial listing. Many of the other race cars used in the movie aren't identified.
