Yes, do watch it!

I found the film particularly interesting, "a gem" of sorts, absolutely. The director, may he rest in peace, definitely had skills and a unique vision. He was only 22 at the time! I think this is a rather impressive achievement. Three years later, the poor man was dead.

It had moments of pure horror and others of pure comedy, but the two never mixed, they worked independently from one another, which was very strange but also original.

I think some people missed some of the comedy elements. It was almost farcical at times, but also very subtle. Did you catch what happened after the witch attacked the innkeeper, when she throws away her weapon? Look closely. It's one brief shot.

The witch herself was pure horror, so horrible-looking, I've never seen anything like this in a movie from the 60's, it's like she was straight out of Evil Dead! 15 years ahead of her time. Perhaps she did travel across time.

It was an okay movie. I got a cheap, low quality, public domain print from one of those 5 movie DVD collections so I couldn't see or hear what was going on very well. I think I would've liked it more had I watched a better quality version. The film wasn't perfect, but it was good enough so I didn't regret watching it. Michael Reeves unfortunately didn't have a long life but he got to work with great stars like Barbara Steele, Christopher Lee, Vincent Price, and Boris Karloff, and his legacy still lives on. Even though I like Witchfinder General a lot better his talent still shines through in this movie.
