Netflix has this, with English subtitles.

The Czech Center in NYC is showing it tonight at 8:30 PM with English subtitles, so there are definitely copies around.

ver_sacrum, So glad you posted. Just found listing of this on clubfreetime.com a few minutes ago, and wondered if the original w/out subtitles was going to be screened - esp. since it's at The Czech Ctr. This is why I turned to IMDb. My next move - if I hadn't found your post - would have been to call the venue. Thanks for saving me the time & effort! Surprised to find a current post re: an almost 50-year-old Czech film.
