Look at the remake this way

If a rich old man with a dull life wanted a new life, who would he come back as? Back when Seconds was first made, Rock Hudson was the obvious choice. The director wanted Laurence Olivier, which makes no sense. Rock Hudson was tall dark and handsome. He was probably one of the best looking guys in Hollywood. If an old man with a dull life wanted to come back in the remake, who would he come back as? Think of it that way. If Seconds was remade in the 80s or 90s, I would've picked Arnold Schwarzenegger for the role. Arnold was a good looking man, tall, had an incredible physique, and I loved him in Total Recall. My other choice for Tony Wilson would've been Michael Douglas. Michael Douglas was a huge star at one time. He was a good looking man. I could definitely have pictured him in Seconds. My final choice for Tony Wilson is Tom Cruise. I loved him in Vanilla Sky and he still looks young and is still a good looking guy.

If this has to be remade. why not reverse the sexual roles.

Have it be a rich old lady who is transformed into a young hot chick.

I'm against remakes, but something like I said might be interesting in the right hands.

Only I don't believe there are any 'right hands' in Hollywood anymore.

Maybe movies have seen their days.
