According to Amazon, the novel by David Ely is being (re)released (a new reprint I guess) in January of 2013. With a very low price, less than $4.00. I wonder what that's about?
Tie in for a movie? The publisher trying to raise interest in the novel, maybe in support of a future movie tie in? The publisher just trying to make money off of the older novels in its catalogue?

The original is a classic yet I wouldn't mind seeing a remake. Don't feel that way about many films, but this one is so forgotten that a remake, whether bad or good, would raise interest in the original.
I have a First Edition print of this book. The movie is far better than the book. I usually like the book better than the movie but not in this case.
