Spurred by the great review above by Alice Liddel.

Fantastic review by Alice Liddel of this film above...

I'd really like to see it, but it doesn't seem to be in my University's slide library, or available to buy... and hasn't been on British TV in a while.
Does anyone know where I might find a copy, without hopefully paying a fortune? :)

As I've mentioned elsewhere, you can buy a new copy of the DVD from amazon.co.uk.

I enjoyed Alice's fine review very much. As a Londoner born and bred this film returns me to the lost London of my childhood!

(Incidentally, anyone interested in the architecture of London as it was in the 60s should seek out a copy of "Nairn's London" by the late Ian Nairn. There was a Penguin reprint of this fascinating book (which adopted a sort of updated Pevsner approach) in the mid 1980s, contrasting the 60s with the 80s with then-recent photos added to the original 60s ones. Needless to say, the "before" photos of the various buildings and locations were invariably more aesthetically pleasing than the "after" ones!)

Its been on UKtv this weekend. Seen if after a number of years, it was always a bit of a curate's egg and now a slice of history of London in the 60s.

Its that man again!!
