Just saw this last night, surely Sasha Baron-Cohen modelled Borat in part at least on Alan Arkin's portrayal of Lt Rozanov?

I wanted to post about this too! After I saw the movie, I started wondering how much of Borat was based on Rozanov (facial expression and accent at least). Arkin's Clouseau also left a somewhat similar impression on me.

You got it, dodrade. Alan Arkin probably lifted part of his schtick here from Sid Caesar...so Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat becomes part of the time line. Three absolutely hilarious guys at work.
