It is coming to the Encore Western Channel on 7-28-11 at 11:05 A.M. EST!

Please double check your local tv guide for the time in your area. There are other options that you can get at Starz.com. One other time is sooner on June 12, 2011.
It had been years since I have seen this movie and I had failed to remember what a great movie it was with a great performance by Chuck Connors. In fact it has an excellent cast with many famous people in supporting roles. This is one movie that you may have to watch twice to really appreciate. Don't miss this one. It is a good one.

I know I posted I had forgot how great this movie was but I had not it seen it for years until recently when it was shown on Encore Westerns. The other time I saw it was about 2 years after it was released and was on tv. I didn't see it on the big screen which is regretable. When I saw it on tv it was chopped up (or edited for tv which means some scenes for whatever reason were left off) and was interupted by commercials which is not the way these movies were intended to be seen. Thank good nowadays for Encore Westerns, TCM and other channels that show movies uncut and uninterupted as they were intended.

I'll second that. Hate to see movies hacked to fit. Original movies, and TV programs for that matter, should be complete as they were first shown. If they're not, I don't waste my time.

I saw it years ago and the content of the cast was outstanding. Chuck Connors carried the movie as lead and did a fantastic job. I think he was an example of actors who could have had a big screen career with the right breaks. I mean, he was Chuck Connors regardless of the part but I guess he did not have the right agent or maybe he did not want a big screen career. Who knows. I think he could have had it though. RIP everyone.
