Original language

It's obvious that this was filmed in different languages, as usual for European B-movies of that time period.

But when you look closely, it seems like the English version matches the lip movements most closely, while the Spanish version sounds more natural, i.e. the ambient sounds seem to be intact, though again, if you watch the lips you'll notice that most of the actors didn't actually speak their dialogue in Spanish.

What complicates this further is that in the English version, some of the more "limbic" sounds (screams, mumbling, etc.) feature different voices and are identical to the Spanish dub.

If there are any comments or further clarifications, I'd be happy to hear them. Also, it would be nice to know if any of the actors feature their original voices in one of the versions. Richard Wyler's voice does sound pretty generic in the English dub.
