Is This a Remake of White Zombie?
In both, you have a villain turning people into zombies in order to provide slaves to work in the mines. That seems unique for a zombie movie, doesn't it?
"Nobody throws me my own guns and says run. Nobody."
A villain turning someone into a mindless slave is pretty much the usual story of the original zombie legends....
