Good 60's horror flick!

Very creepy movie! I loved the way that the zombies looked-still scary looking for this day and age. The voodoo and the mysterious strangers trying to figure out this evil puzzle was quite intriguing. The acting also should be noted-holds up very well by todays standards.

Its Halloween time-give this winner a try!

8 out of 10.

I love this film as well. Creepy, beautifully filmed and well acted.

It`s one of the best Hammer Horror films even without the "big guns" of Cushing and Lee.Atmospheric ,well-acted and gorgeous Jacqueline Pearce!

hannahp1 Liked your post until "The acting also should be noted-holds up very well by todays standards." which implies that today's acting is superior to the acting of the 60's, i think you will find that it is the other way around.

I’ve never agreed with the “holds up” mentality at all. Films should be a statement of the era they were produced anyway.
