It scared me to death when I was a kid

I was born in 1962 and saw it around 1968 or 1970 at a family members house, late back then was 10pm. I watched this as my parents and relatives were saying goodbye... I was scared to death. I looked it up in TV guide to never watch it again. Until now, and I figure now, probably my electric is far more frightening.

Me too! I was about 5 or 6 when I first (and last) saw this, in the early 70s. It just aired on Antenna TV. When she scratched that portrait and it started bleeding all those spooky memories came flooding back to me.

Yeah, they're dead; they're--all messed up!

Me, too! I was born in 1960 and watched it when I was about 8 or 9. It scared the pants off me!

I was just into my teens when this movie came out. it was that creepy song that caught my attention right away. Here is how I remember the lyrics.

The worms go in the worms go out

Go in your stomach and out your mouth.

When you see a hearse go by

You'd better not laugh for you may be the next to die.

They'll wrap you in a big white sheet

and bury you six foot deep.

The worms go in the worms go out

go in your stomach and out your mouth.

The fact that the song was sung by a little girl was creepy and got my attention right away. I don't remember anything about the movie but I certainly remember that song.

I'm glad I wasnt alone. I was 11...the song "The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. In your stomach and out your mouth..." stuck with me for years. LOL

I don't know what made me think of this movie tonight and search for it here; all I remembered was the little girl singing that creepy song, and that this movie frightened the heck out of me. I was 8 when it came out, but I think a little older when I saw it. I'd love to see it again.
