The '10,000 BC' board

It's funny. If you visit the board for the Roland Emmerich film 10,000 BC, you get a load of threads devoted to calling out the historical inaccuracies with that film. But here, there's not one such similar thread, even though, in perspective, this film is even more inaccurate than 10,000 BC could ever hope to be!

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for.

Simply because its a Fantasy movie and people in the 60´s had no problems at least here in Sweden. Maybe we always knew that dinos and cavepeople never existed so we thought that a filmmaker would not do a film where there is a mix unless he knew it was such an outragious but cool idea. Most people on Earth have fantasized about seeing or being chased by a large dinosaur. So why on Earth should not there be a film that satisfie our hunger for that? What else is there to film but what we fantasize about? Maybe people´s imagination is a bit muffled these days, because it seems that many have problems with imagining or grasping imagination of older films. The 60´s was a peak of Fantasy, imagination and psychedelia, as grownups was not seen as inmature if they liked or even made things with Fantasy...
