In a hypothetical remake, should 'The Rock' play Jim Cole?

Who would be good in Martha Hyer's role? Elizabeth Shue?

No, not the Rock. And no, no remake.

The rock should do what he does best. Lie at the bottom of a deep river. Talentless nothing.

This movie certainly doesn't need a remake, but if it had to be, the only role I would give to "the rock" would be the part of the drunk rooster and that would probably be disrespectful to the fine acting of the rooster in the original.

I concur. The "Rock" isn't an actor any more than Paris Hilton is an actress. This movie doesn't need remaking anyway.

No one can replace Clint Walker, he was a Hero on Earth, and now an Angel in Heaven....if he is not included in the Memorium on the Emmys, I will never watch the Emmys again.

reply

Only if you replace the grizzly with a cyborg mutant and set the remake on another planet.
