Why do people rate this film after seeing it on MST3k? Of course you are going to have a low opinion of a film if three people are constantly heckling throughout its entire duration. I know people are rating this based on MST3k because it is very difficult to find the original copy of the film.

I have recently watched the complete 90 minute cut of the film and I have to say it is quite good. I think anyone that is genuinely interested in the cinema of Coleman Francis will agree with this statement. Yes it is low budget, and like so many other films, it's not the size of the budget, but what you do with it that counts. The deadpan atmosphere and the cheesy stock music make this film very memorable. John Carradine's line "Griffin ran all the way to hell" is craftily delivered and the theme song that follows it is on par with The Bostweeds in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!.

So, why are you rating a butchered version of this film with a group of morons rambling over it?

While there have been a few movies lampooned by MST3K that were, at worst, just average flicks and not remotely terrible, I can't see how this film could be one of them.

Yeah this movie is terrible on all levels. Coleman Francis was a terrible film maker. In his other movies, you had at Tor Johnson to snicker at. This movie proved that Coleman Francis had no ability to direct a coherent or palatable movie, wrote screenplays at a first grade level, and couldn't act. Besides this movie his biggest roles where as second bananas. He mostly had credits like "drunk on opposing street corner".

The MST3K only removed one scene and heavily edited a second for TV release. You are watching the movie. I'm guessing you have no sense of humor. And there's something obviously wrong if you consider anything by Coleman Francis as quality or entertaining.

People are not genuinely interested in the three film work of Coleman Francis unless they are a masochist.

There are some MST3K movies that are entertaining without the MST3K treatment this is not one of them. It would be lost to eternity if it wasn't for MST3K finding them. You should be greatful.

Otherwise the film would have been lost to some fire somewhere and had been forgotten.
