Location

Does anyone know where Morgan was filmed- particularly, the house?

reply

It's the area between Notting Hill Gate and Kensington High Street in West London.

The house is at the top of Camden Hill Square, London w11. If you are at the bottom of the square on Holland Park Ave, it's at the top on the left hand side.

I'd like to know where Morgan's Mum's Cafe was. If anyone knows...

I'd have to watch the film again to be absolutely sure, but I think it's in the King's Road at the World's End area of Chelsea (SW10 rather than the more fashionable - and expensive! - SW3), in the row of shops diagonally opposite to the old St Mark's College (now a private residential development).

My late mother was born (in 1922) in the long demolished Bifron Street, which was very near by. (It's been replaced by a tower block where, as it happens, Christine Keeler lived for many years.)

Still, I might be wrong, and I SHALL double-check. I'll get back to you!

Thanks...I think I've since learned that it's Walmer Rd W11...check out this link...though it looks totally different today.

I'm looking up the Morgan message board whilst watching the film. I need a break from it because, lets face it, its a pretty terrible movie...

Google Maps is a brilliant way of checking a hunch you may have about a filming location. swinginglondon-2 is right about the location of the house, except its spelt Campden Hill Square. Google Maps confirms it.

The Times Online listed it 3 years ago as the 15th most expensive street in London!

Using Google Maps, go down the side street and you can see the door where Leonie comes out at the start of the film before getting into the car. It's number 13.

On Google Maps, the house has still got scaffolding on it!
