What was that game

There was a game that played a role in that movie, which I last saw about 30 years ago (and I still can't get that theme song out of my head--Henry Mancini is the Devil!), and the game played a part in the plot; a missing heart piece that linked the woman to the guy that was shot. What was that game? I must know!
