Sixties Spy Spoof, Deserving of a DVD

I recall, in the early to mid-1970s, that this fun little film used to turn up on the late show. I would love to see it get a DVD release.

Me too. I was very young when I saw it but would love to see it again. Worried about the Low IMDB score.

The last time Matchless was shown anywhere seems to have been on Cinemax around 1997. At the time, Cinemax had a regular feature, showing movies not on video yet. I taped Matchless back then, I always remembered that scene of O'Neal's character driving on the Grand Central Parkway to JFK Airport, a second unit location shoot that Italian movies could easily afford then, while Hollywood studios were imploding.

The movie to get is Fraulein Doktor, another movie directed by Alberto Lattuada that was last shown over 20 years ago, cut, on local TV stations.

It is now being shown on free antennae tv in the USA. The network called THIS-TV just played it on October 26 2016.

Maybe it will get a little better known as a decent spy spoof.
