DVD cover

Apparently the folks at Criterion changed the DVD cover. I think the original one was way better. What do you think?

i'm still not happy with the color coordination, or rather, lack-of. if they're really adamant on sticking with this 'look', then the very first one i saw with the words to the side like a magazine cover was much better. but again, color coordination, criterion, salut?

i think both are a bit lazy. they cant think of anything better than a title on a black and white photo? im usually very impressed with the criterion covers :(

the cover looks fine. chantal goya is cute in the one where she smiles, so i don't have a problem. it's a minimalist cover, i suppose.

As I haven't heard of some of the movies on criterion, I'm maybe more likely to buy them if they have a cool cover!

I too prefer the original cover. how interesting. this IS a still from the final scene of the film, so the less perky face on the cover would be much more fitting.
