A great, great movie!

I never even heard of this til I had to read the book for my British literature english class. After I read the book, I rented the movie and thought it was great and it became one of my favorites to watch. It had some really great actors-Robert Shaw was excellent for King Henry and I've always thought he was a wonderful actor! Paul Scofield was great too as More. It's just really a movie to have to pay attention closely and watch when you have no distractions, but it's worth it!

Scofield is, at the least, great in everything he does. Most of the time he's better than great.

I've only seen three Scofield films (A Man For All Seasons, Quiz Show, and The Crucible), but his performances were so excellent that they're the reason I own all three.
