Coming out from a concert Adam's protege, played by Sinatra Jr, is assaulted and beaten. Adam freaks out and runs away, gets drunk and falls back to his old ways, and gives a last performance and dies. Tyson, talking with Oss"Give up his manhood." This is not a sexual reference as she further says that she wishes he had stayed in the alley and fought, even if it killed him. What does she mean by this?
shareShe made the comment because she thought Adam didn't help Vincent fight off the racist attack against Vincent in order to please her. She might've thought that but it seemed to me as if Adam felt that if he helped Vincent out, he would've been killed and, realizing that, he felt powerless and THAT was what he couldn't take, leading to continued self-abuse and his downfall.
