Is this the movie that features a shark in the swimming pool?

yes, that's the one. Funny because I just reviewed this movie (I haven't seen it in over 20 years) and that is the very scene I remembered.

I have been looking for "Let's Kill Uncle" for a while. I saw it as a kid and thought that my kids would enjoy it. Is there anywhere that I can find it in VHS or DVD?

I think I remember it being a killer whale (Orca).

It was definitely a shark. Magic pool, too, that looks all gross and covered with algae and gunk from the topside, and only a few feet across, but shot from underneath it grows to many times its size and the water is perfectly clear. The magic world of Castle.
